This station is a non-profit, non-commercial, educational station licensed to the Hawkeye Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hawkeye, Iowa.

Our transmitter reaches most of Northeast Iowa, roughly a 40 mile radius of Hawkeye. If your are not included in this area try our live stream to enjoy the programming as well.

Meet Our Team

Our radio team is very passionate about what they do.

Daniel Bonjour

Director/Manager

Dan's passion has always been anything to do with radios and electronics from the day that he built his first transistor radio. He has gone on to perfect that passion over the years in the form of his business Fayette Electronics where he serves Fayette County by keeping the radios up and running for the EMS, Fire, and road crews, among other things. His dream was to build and run a radio station that would serve our Lord and spread the good news of Jesus to the surrounding communities. That became a reality for him in 2010 and has been going strong ever since.

Teagan Bonjour

Scheduler

Growing up, Teagan has always had a keen interest in radio and all that goes on behind the scenes to run a station. After marrying into the Bonjour family, Teagan was presented with an opportunity to serve the Lord supporting this radio station. A dream come true! You'll find her right at home organizing files and scheduling programs for the upcoming days.

In her spare time, you'll often find Teagan baking up a storm, gardening, or playing her ukulele.

Richard Bonjour

Assistant Manager

Richard feels family means so much and is something God has entrusted us with. Family has been the biggest guiding force in his life from the time he first could remember working on the farm with his dad and brothers. When God blessed him with his partner in life - Kathleen - then the addition of his two sons, he felt that God had given him a very precious gift to preserve for God. Richard has been an RN now for more years than he'd like to remember.

When Richard was asked by Dan to be a partner in the radio station, he finally felt like he had been given something that he could do for God's family. It has been such a wonderful thing to be part of this endeavor.

In October of 2007 the FCC opened a filing window for full power non-commercial educational FM stations. Dan Bonjour, member of the Hawkeye Seventh-day Adventist church, felt a call to go forward in faith and apply. A board was formed to examine the implications of such a project and the church voted to proceed.

On January 26, 2010 we received our construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission.

The tower was put up in April, 2010 at the Bonjour farm near Fayette. The foundations were laid by Mueller Construction, Postville, IA and the tower erected by La Crescent Tower Service. The studio is located at the home of Dan and Sue Bonjour of Fayette.

This has been, and still is, a very exciting time as we strive to provide our surrounding communities with positive programs, music, and encouragement!

Have you been looking for peace in your life that you've never had? You can find that here in our music and programs. The Bible in Phil 4:7 says "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."

Relationships for couples and friends have been hit hard by the enemy in this modern world. Jesus want more than anything else, to heal those relationship problems. Dear KRJE, Wow! Am I blessed! I recently discovered your radio station on the internet via Radio Garden and I am sooo blessed to have found you! Although I live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, I have a son who lives in Guttenberg, IA, and we have loved visiting him and his family throughout the last 18 years. So I frequently seek internet sites that provide local information in order to feel a part of his life in northeast Iowa. I have been so very blessed by the music you play- which is so much better than the noise that passes for Christian music on the major Christian Radio stations. I truly feel the anointing of the Lord through your artists. I am a Bible believing follower of Jesus Christ who simply wants to worship our Lord with all my heart.
